Hi. When you setup the library, did you check this box? If so, exactly how are the items organized and named?

    Plugin: Anime, having issues installing

In the process of trying to upgrade my server version I think I accidentally nuked my server (was running it in Synology's Container Manager and I'm not that familiar with docker), so I guess this post isn't relevant anymore - is there a way for me to delete or close this? On the bright side it seems like the Anime plugin installed fine and is working now, so maybe it was some sort of version compatibility thing (interesting that on server version 4.9.3.0, I now also see Anime plugin version 1.6.1)
  4. Is this your own server on your network or someone else's?

So just created a new Library with the Content Type listed as "Home videos and photos", but none of the pic files show up... only the movies. What am I doing wrong ? Everything listed are movies, yet there are pic files in this group as well. This is on version 4.9.3.0 of the server, running as an installed package on a Synology Server.

Started having problems watching my PVR and saved videos on Roku

I thought the same but it was not. The issue is now back overnight. Very strange.
  9. Xg, You should have the speed. Try these suggestions. Sometime MacOS has some protection of incoming content turned on. https://macpaw.com/how-to/video-not-playing-mac

  11. I do this all the time, if i have the english srt subtitle. Using lingarr-translate/lingarr: Lingarr is an application that supports both local and SaaS translation services to translate subtitle files into a specified target language. With automated translation options, Lingarr simplifies translating subtitles.

Live-Video-Translation Plugin Beta using OpenAI Whisper

Hello real time traduction is nice but requires power. For Live TV, no alternative but for a TV show/Movie, why not to use OpenSubtitles source and translate from it? Indeed, OpenSubtitles offers mainly subs in english. It would be nice to translate the SRT file from a language source to a language target. The plugin would work like OpenSubtitles addon: you select a Movie, modify subtitles, download subs which it translated on the fly. In Stremio, there is a similar addon which works very well: https://github.com/xtremexq/StremioSubMaker

The need for having the WinTV app is mentioned on this support document Live TV Setup I will add documentation regarding the need to configure the WinTV Pause Buffer. Thanks for confirming
  14. I'll throw some other information out while we wait for a response. These are all things conveyed in the past here which affect the speed of return. You can't necessarily compare one company to another as far as the speed their apps are processed. There are different tiers of support for which the price rises the higher you go. The higher tiers can affect the speed and the age of the TVs supported also. For instance, Samsung typically won't test the Emby app for TVs after 4 years (though Luke can do a special request once in a while for older models now). However, the Netflix app gets updated for older models all the time because they pay for the higher tier support. I've only had 1 store app update so far in the last 4 years on my 2018 model because my TV is no longer tested in the normal updates with the others. An app update is already in the queue Some apps are more complicated and will take more time to test. The Emby app will be in the same category and tested by the same people who test Netflix, Disney+, etc. Sometimes the app gets kicked back for changes. You can't do an app update and add regions/countries supported at the same time. For instance, when Emby adds South Korea to the supported countries all app testing will stop for that app. Each year and model group of TV models is tested separately. For instance, a 2025 Premium, Standard, and Basic model is tested (sometimes by different people) and can be held back for different reasons. This is why you will sometimes see someone say their model has the update and others even within the same year don't see the update yet. Holidays Anyhow, we'll have to wait and see if Luke wants to get into the weeds on why your TV doesn't have the new app yet. Just wanted to convey it's not always a simple comparison.

Hi Luke, can you check this too? I don't know if they are the same problem.
  18. What is the c# equivalent of the REST API endpoint "/Sessions/Playing/Stopped", if i only have the ItemId, MediaSourceId and PlaySessionId, but no SessionId? The REST API endpoint works without a SessionId.

There is a quirk ! The lineup still has the old ID's for 321 as well as the new ID's. So until they remove the old references, make sure 321 is mapped to the 321 lineup entry with callsign GRETMYS and not GREATMY

No audio in browser and desktop client

Hello NeoSheng, ** This is an auto reply ** Please wait for someone from staff support or our members to reply to you. It's recommended to provide more info, as it explain in this thread: Thank you. Emby Team
  23. Hi everyone, I’m experiencing a strange audio issue and would appreciate some help. My setup: Emby Server (self-hosted) Playback in both web browser (Chrome) and Emby desktop client Video: MKV, 1080p H.264 Audio: Spanish EAC3 stereo (128 kbps, 48 kHz) Playback method: Direct Play (for both video and audio) Problem: There is no sound at all when playing this file in both the web interface and the desktop client. However other websites have sound (so system audio is working). Emby shows “Audio → Direct Play”. It seems like EAC3 is being Direct Played instead of transcoded, but I cannot find any obvious transcoding options in my server settings. Questions: 1. Should EAC3 be automatically transcoded to AAC for browser playback? 2.If audio transcoding is disabled, where can I enable it? 3.Could this indicate an ffmpeg or transcoding configuration issue? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Let me know if logs are needed and I can provide them. Thank you!

    [Plugin] Watch Party

The search is made a bit more intuitive to use. Select a library and then use the search field. WatchPartyForEmby.dll

Download User Watched List? (need for a project)

Think the closest thing available is Playback Reporting plugin but is limited to the date of install as it runs its own db.

Undo - Save Artwork into Media Folders

It really depends on how much media you have. Firstly, yes I would recommend putting everything into their own dedicated folder and just moving the associated metadata into them (.nfo and art). It is just a cosmetic thing. It’s up to you if you want untick the save artwork option but I prefer having it all there in case in the future I need to rebuild my library so emby doesn’t have to download everything again, as well keeping all my custom art I’ve picked. I’d then run an emby library rescan which will just identify that the media has moved, all your watched statuses should remain. Whether you remove all these files is up to you, depending on your OS you can use the CLI to do this quite easily based on how brave you are If you do remove them then you ‘may’ need to refresh the metadata for the library, I’ve never stored my media this way so I don’t know from experience.
