You may need to make sure those subtitles are for the actual speaking dialogue. Since it says "Foreign Subtitles" I am guessing it might show only the subtitles when the Yautja (Predator) is speaking to the female android and when she speaks in Yautja back to him. In other words, the subtitles only show up when they are not speaking English. If you want subtitles during the entire movie you need to make sure they contain the full dialogue.

You would need to get this from the system itself.

Luke - After some additional research I still have an issue. Example and logs below. Setup - I have a VPN on the server and for some reason starting a short bit ago the guide would download for all channels with no issue. After digging into it, I figured out that "hostx" was anonymized for data.tmsapi.com. I added this domain along with tmsapi.com to the bypass. Once I did this, some of the channels get their guide data and some don't. We will use Food Network SD as the example that did not get data. There are many more within. Restarted server just before 9:30ET. Yes it is, you can switch to this new multi-platform image on all 3 of our supported architectures. Beta only for now, but the next stable release will also be a multi-platform image.

Let's see if this helps... Any versions of Empire have been grouped by Emby so the client can use a pulldown to select a version. That is fine. No extras appearing however with the movie past the chapters section for its page. They are being treated as separate movies. Extras showing in root Movies folder.

@Lukeand @ebris system usage, such as GPU, RAM, and CPU for Emby, available anywhere through an API call? I’m using the Emby Docker container, if that matters.

Hello! i was looking through the UI trying to setup some webhooks for my server and i noticed that the plugin is installed, but the webhooks plugin never loads. Just making sure i am not missing anything here. The plugin is definitely installed and i see it. But nothing in the sidebar. Attached my logs for good measure. I have restarted my server multiple times btw and uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin multiple times. emby-logs.txt

Again, this is the same problem as below, and frankly it's been over a month with this issue and no update to fix it. You've gotten a file to test with (and as pointed out, this is the case with EVERY MKV with embedded subtitles). Rolling back to 4.9.1.90 solves the problem.

Are there any updates on support for the edition feature? I currently have Plex and Emby running simultaneously, and the ability to use the same naming convention for editions would make things much easier.

I would love a flatpak but for now access to the appimage would be awesome, put a warning about "you the user is responsible for updates" or something but dont hold out on us wanting it please

Another thing if that issue with the artists appearing multiple times, can't be fixed would be just add a function when I select 2, 3, 4 artists or albums to merge them together. (ofc. with locking their metadata to local only and not again searching for online IDs which breaks everything up)

So does that mean you're just discontinuing the Emby Theater client and replacing it was just Emby client if that's the case I don't see the problem here as having that package removed and replacing it with the new rebuild client will have to be reinstalled I'm fine with that and I'm sure many other people will be too.

Since many albums are quite trash listed on the Music Brainz and sometimes you need to reedit your library it would be cool if EMBY would be able to directly write onto your flac files. E.g. at the moment I have the problem that some albums such as some from The Hooters, are listed as two, even with identical metadata on their flac files, the internal meta data manager & on their album setting. Would be cool if Emby can edit that with one click and not like at the moment with 3 to XX different things, like if I edit something with the metadata manager it should be changed on the original flac file, on my library, on the artists page & on each song under that directory. Also some other things, that are not working and were already mentioned previsouly here: The Hooters e.g. appear twice, with the exact same metadata on every file/ album/ sorting name/ artist name and meta data on their flac files. By the way I had that with some artists, there the things others wrote in the forum they tried worked, just for them it is impossible to get them merging, no matter what I try, they always appear twice. If I click "lock the file for further edits" on the meta data manager it works BUT then when re add them to my library they are NOT named anymore as I named them on their .flac metadata, they are just named like the filename so "01 title" "02 title" and so on.. speaking of whyever Emby still tries to find their online tags and still ignored my sorting. I think here the problem is emby always tries to get an Music Brainz ID, and whyever some people put on Music Brainz their own "collections/ sorting orders" and that makes emby breaking in some ways, e.g. in the hooters case one time the sorting name is "The Hooters" and band name "The Hooters". Whyever someone has it "Hooters" and "Hooters" and it is impossible to get it out of emby as long as it can find these IDs. I think basically with a local metadata editor, this issue with editing files 5 times for one edit is fixed and an option to stop emby trying to get any online id for music would fix the other problems.

No idea how that setting changed. Or that it mattered. I was able to connect to the server, so I didn't see connectivity as the issue.

Still not fixed as by today..

In relations to SteamOS. Am i doing sometihng wrong? I can only install it if i remove read-only on the root partition, otherwise i cannot install it. The problem with this approach (removing read-only) is that Emby will be remove with each new firmware update.
