Back to the original issue that I posted for, after having made the changes indicated above the filename "Ex Machina (2015) 1080p x265" is still not being added to the library. I again checked all 4 ways as I mentioned above.

First guess, what are the permissions on /opt/emby-server and /opt/emby-server/system?

It's just an overlay applied on posters like icons, without resizing (so no cropping and nobody's looking fat). I do it manually when a TV show is "on air" or when a new season is available.This could be based on tags I think. No problem for the low priority. Your plugin is already much appreciated, it was just an idea

When will read be re-enabled? I'm currently working on some automation around the artist.nfo, and I'd rather use that as a source.

I've got the same and I was thinking of posting here, but I assumed it would sort itself out at some point. Screenshot below of the ones I have noticed. But even after forcing a refresh of everything, the EPG for channel 507 (Sky SPorts F1 example) using the Sky Q Emby Guide Data still has the nhkwldh channel and EPG data. I also also limit the amount of icons shown. Upper left corner: HDR and Resolution. Lower right corner Subtitle languages. We are all different so i can understand if people want other icons. As for the green bar banners, as said in the post above i will look into it but it will be low priority. It would require scaling the posters in ways that doesn't make the characters in the posters look fat.

The plugin has no way of knowing when something is coming out, it's a purely reactive plugin (or at least was meant to be ) I personally don't see the need for them either as the plugin originally was just made to show icons for subtitle languages so my parents could see what videos had danish subtitles as they don't speak english. More icons were added to see what videos had Dolby Vision, surround and so on as i found them useful for quickly scanning with the mark 1 eyeball what videos had what. It was never meant to pretty up Emby. With that said, i will look into it but it will be low priority for now. Don't get me wrong, i love that you guys like the plugin and all the suggestions you are coming with but the plugin is getting a little out of hand with features. It's gotten so bloated that some people see the settings and just instantly give up. You are welcome to make the features your self if you can/want, the plugin code is free for all use.

Hey @Luke I'm having similar issues following the upgrade to 4.9.3.0. Watch history seems to be regularly "out of sync" ie from a few days ago. Switching to another user, then switching back to the original user seems to bring it back up to date. Similar issues for continue watching section, the most recently watched item isn't being pinned to the left anymore. I have to scroll through continue watching to resume my most recently watched programme. Both of these issues appear across clients and users, so I'm convinced it's server based.

Is anyone using Samsung DEX + XR Glasses. There are no controls when watching videos. does the android app even support mous/touchpad? The thing is that with XR glasses phone becomes a touchpad, and there is no way to bring the media controls when tapping on the screen.

Try removing the AniSearch plugin and see how that compares (or disable the provider in the library options). That's timing out. Maybe AniList too, that seems to be working but the logs are super messy because the AniList query takes up like 40 lines every time...

That would be great! It'd be nice to be able to add playlists to the current play quere as well. For example, I have playlists like 'Best of 2025' and 'Best of 2024' and it would be great to play / shuffle through them at the same time.

They are in the specials folder. If the morons at TVDB did not include them as "critical to the story", then you need to manually edit the metadata yourself, as was mentioned so that they show up during your season playback. This is NOT an Emby problem, but a problem with the idiots at TVDB who have constant genital wagging competitions with users and often get the specials data incorrect on purpose just so they can "drink the tears of the plebs".

I'm now getting this on my LG C5. Was working perfectly until today, literally half way through a film with DTS audio having watched an hour of it yesterday with no issues, come back to it today and it starts transcoding, brings up the blue spinning circle, and does nothing. Renders it completely unusable! Any updates?
