Upon re-reading the official Emby Music Naming documentation just now, I think it does provide the correct information. But, I do also remember having quite a few false starts with Emby myself, before getting the hang of it, so perhaps some of the music metadata aspects could be made more obvious for the beginner or those not fully familiar with the music naming conventions? I know you guys are super-busy on 4.10, so without rewriting the whole Music Naming documentation (which would then need a lot of checking) here is my attempt at a shortish new intro which may be helpful...??? This intro now emphasizes the embedded metadata aspect and separates the Folder Structure into its own main section. Everything else below stays the same as it is now. Feel free to use this as is (I hope there are no errors) or alter as you wish...

Ah this is a per user setting. Then yeah I'm not sure it would work for this plugin. My assumption is @ChaoOossaw the update and thought he could exclude libraries on a per library basis from getting included in the statistics equations.

I can see the issue but now idea what you are syncing. That kind of playlists are you syncing? This is actually the first issue. This %RootFolderPath% seems totally wrong and is independent from the playlist issue. This is a TVShow series issue. Sure I can easily fix it, but I would be prefer to know the reason for this problem. -

So you did the sync? And what is the actual issue. Do you think there will be a new TVSHow section in the main menu? At least I got this impression and that's not how it works. You need do customize the skin, otherwise it's mixed in the the existing/default TVShow node. Or are you sying, it's not synced at all? If so, I need a kodi.log for review. -

How does this relate to this plugin?

When I enter the server address manually and click connect it immediately tells me “unable to reach server”. There isn’t even a spinning circle, just an instant response. I do use Spectrum and I know they have been know to use CGNat but my ip addresses match so I don’t believe that is the issue. I'm walking through every step of the external connection guide and I have everything set up the way it says. I’m to the porting option and I have limited knowledge on this so I am currently walking through how to do this. I will update shortly. Has anything occurred recently on the Emby side which might have caused this? I made now changes previously.

I disagree with this. 1) I do not want to have to relay on external factors. 2) I use Emby for its privacy, and do not want a email connected to my admin. That might be for none admin users. But not for a admin account, its my system and the password file / request is placed in my local system, for me to read. Not some hacker having access to my mail, and found the url to my Emby server, trying to gain access. NO NO NO, I have 4 Emby server's right now, running a cross multiple physical servers. 1) Stabil for my wife and kids / Friends. 2) Stabil for plugin testing. 3) Beta for Testing. 4) Beta for plugin testing. All of these are running a weekly sync, using the Backup and restore plugin. Just so I look at equal data, when doing test's. -

Apologize for my angry rant here.... But we help emby devs.. The closing of access to admin accounts outside LAN is a very important security setting. So, heres how i suggest emby team solve it: - MANDADORY email tied to the admin account. You cant register one without email, that way you dont forget to have your admin account tied to your email. - You can reset the password using your email. You should also be able to reset this security setting as easy as you reset the password using email. Pro tip: For extra security you might also want to make the admin account tied to a specific computer so you need a code to your email to even use the admin account on a different machine. -

Happy to help. Glad you got it running. I guess the help text could have more of a warning label to it. But messing with this can get you in trouble when introducing "Typo's" to it But good you got it fixed. -

Ok ... i managed to fix it thanks to you, the emby developers should give you a free lifetime emby pass for this. ARE YOU LISTENING, EMBY TEAM? You pointed me to system.xml, i had typed the wrong subnet..... 192.168.0.0/24 instead of 192.168.1.0/24..... editing it fixed it, i can now log in as admin. But it shouldnt be this technical to fix a mistake thats fairly easy to do, i hope emby team looks at this. -
