I think its essentially a one stop shop. You won't need to set stuff up in NextPVR or some Linux equivalent. Talking to the tuner, lnb settings, finding channels, sorting, whatever, all in one place. And hopefully, if we're really really lucky, faster tuning.

You arent alone, I am getting the same.

This plugin looks really good in theory and I love how it integrates with seerr. Installed it to have a test but ran into a few issues. 1. Plugin install. I copies the moonfin.emby files and restarted emby. I see Moonfin in the plugins tab but a blue loading ring appears in the middle of the page and will not go away so unable to change any settings. I remove the files and used the 2.0.0 release and that seems to work. No idea what went wrong or where to find logs on it. 2. The :8096/moonfin/web web URL doesnt load, just a spinning Loading Moonfin logo. 3. LG OS app. Looks decent. I really like the rotating banners on the home page. However once i enable seerr integration and go back to the home page the banners are just a blank screen and writing "no description available" appears. Disabling seerr and this works normally again. Also changing user or reloading the app makes them load ok but once you click around a bit and come back to the home screen it goes back to being broken. 4. Apple TV. Again app looks nice but for some reason my libraries are not showing in the library settings menu so unable to add rows to my home page. Strange thing is it loads fine on my iphone (same account, same login etc...)

Hi, this is an interesting idea and would definitely be a "nice to have" for all music genres, but it may be difficult to get the data you want, across all your albums??? It seems like popular albums in MusicBrainz have the data, but many others do not. Looks like this has been asked for at least twice previously, one of which is an older post (5 years ago) from you: https://emby.media/community/topic/31937-music-performers-and-other-musings/ https://emby.media/community/topic/103370-per-track-album-musician-listing/ A couple of ideas if you have the relevant embedded metadata already, in fields that Emby does not currently import: Use Mp3tag to bulk copy/append the tags to the Artist field - Emby will then import to Artist field. Use Mp3tag to bulk copy the tags to ROONTRACKTAG - Emby will then import to Tag field. I hate to suggest this in an Emby forum, but have you trialled Roon to see what that does? It's expensive though and can't be greatly customised, which is why I prefer Emby myself. But if you want no fuss implementation, and now, before you turn 76...!!!, could be worth investigating...???

Of the video? Sure but it was more or less created via ffmpeg 7.1 from debian stable via ffmpeg -i infile.mkv -c:v libsvtav1 -crf 32 -preset 8 -svtav1-params lp=4 -c:a libopus -ab 96K outfile.mkv And the attached copy was just a simple -c copy -to 00:03:00 The Office S02E16 Valentines Day_.mkv

Ok, thanks. This is a Google Doc that describes features. Is there a website? Is this a service? Is this supposed to be a plugin? I guess what problem does this thing solve? I promise you I'm not and idiot and not discounting your need or want for this on Wednesday evenings. I have been using NextPVR forever so I I don't know what need this fills. Maybe I should open a separate thread?

Without being able to look at an example, it's hard to say. It could have been due to an option that was configured that has now been reset to default.

Now it just needs a user base of more than one...

Emby for Android is a direct substitute for Emby for Android TV. Both run on Android TV. There used a be a time when true Android TV devices were rare and most TV boxes ran mobile Android with a different launcher. That isn't the case anymore as most TV streamers run Android TV/Google TV now. I think one of the main reasons Emby is moving towards a Universal (mobile/TV) app, is due to different Play Store review requirements for Android TV apps. They must pass compatibility test suite checks, and meet certain UI and hardware requirements.

I had it running a few weeks ago. Needed just a small set of adaptions.

I know it's been a long time I'm so busy this year! Well anyhow I *think* I solved this problem by uninstalling the emby app and re-installing it. If that is the fix may i ask how / why? is there something wrong with my roku?

So Android TV is leading the real world and the Emby world, but it's slated to be replaced by Emby mgmt? Am I missing something here?

@Mangopulp Hey I'm glad you noticed & like them. I created them on gimp & hunted for matching images with transparent backgrounds then layered with the emby logo. When I get some time I will post a topic for it with my gimp template I use along with what images I already created. I tried to keep a green theme with them since emby's logo is green.

I just sent a log from my Roku exactly what I was doing Trying to play S01E01 of Lucky (2026). it would just spin the loading screen and then eventually got the prompt that there's no compatible streams and to contact my administrator. log was sent at 5:07 est user was Billy

I'd assume worldwide would be the same. Edit:
