Nice theme, it looks good, I just installed it. I'll try it out for a while. I'll keep an eye on any improvements you make.

I have live racing replay media which is not available in the normal "SXXEXX" or similar format, but is named "YYYY Round XX". Currently, I duplicate the content for tracking in emby which is renamed and spread across multiple folders for different series. I then keep another clean copy of the content for seeding. If we could provide a custom regex string for specific folders, series, or libraries for custom name handling of content, I could easily provide emby with the information on handling the content. Similarly, the regex string could also allow a single folder to have multiple separate TV Shows. For example Pre-Race show, Race and Post-Race show. For example, the content might be available in the following folder format: - 2026 AMA Supercross Rd 11 Detroit 1080p60 x265.mkv - 2026 AMA Supercross Rd 11 Detroit Post Show 1080p60 x265.mkv For the main race content, I could just a regex pattern below which provides season and episode as named groups, and would only get the race. 20(?'season'\d\d) AMA Supercross Rd (?'episode'[\d]+)( [a-zA-Z]+){1,2}(?:Post Show(*FAIL)|) [0-9p]+ x26[45] For post race content, a separate regex pattern for the series could be done which forces pattern matching for the post show. 20(?'season'\d\d) AMA Supercross Rd (?'episode'[\d]+)( [a-zA-Z]+){1,2} (Post Show) [0-9p]+ x26[45] This is one example, but other content might be 4-6 different races throughout the event with unique naming and tags. I was thinking each pattern could be added similar to adding "Folders" but each Regex pattern creates a separate TV series with all of the matches. Each regex pattern would scan all of the content in the indicated folders to build up the series database. Thanks,

I am using Emby Version 4.9.1.90 on a Synology DS 718+, running DSM 7.2.2-72806 Update 8. I have been adding movies related to Marvel & X-men recently. Screenshot 1 shows them in the recently added section of my home page just fine. When I look at my whole movie library listing, sorted by date added (most recent first), only one of those movies appears - SS 2. When I sort the whole movie library listing by Title A-Z, only one of the 8 X-men movies I know I have shows up. - SS 3 I edited the metadata so the TITLE field is the full title of the movie, but the SORT TITLE field is "X-Men ##," with ## being the 2-digit chronological order # of the film in the story universe. All the X-Men film's full titles also start with the letter X, so I don't understand why they aren't listing in the X section of the full listing. This is a problem that I can't imagine a cause for. The movies are present on the NAS when I look them up with File Station. They show up automatically in Emby on the Home Page (SS 1), when I search for them using the magnifying glass, and in the X-Men collection I created, where with the sort order title they appear in chronological order. Why don't they show up in the whole movie library listing by title or date added?

Also did you notice how the regular Emby fanboys on here chime in as soon as people get a little chippy about the crap service we're getting from this company? You've been really patient dealing with the constant attacks from that "pwhodges" person and honestly I would have told him to eff off by now. These people want to silence anyone who even remotely appears dissapointed with this mediocre service. Like we're supposed to pay for a service and not complain when the Emby staff are obviously stalling and giving us the runaround for years without any timeframe on a fix and ultimately no fix in the end.

This sounds like it may be an issue with VLC but let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!

I think I started with XBMC installed on a laptop with an external drive with a bunch of ripped DVDs. I wanted to start using HDHomeRun, which required Windows Media Center and PCI card so I built an HTPC. XMBC was a bad integration with WMC because it was just a shortcut to launch an external app. I think this led me to find the VideoBrowser plugin for WMC and then just followed development through MediaBrowser > MediaBrowser 3 > Emby. I tried Plex sometime in there and never saw a reason to pay for what MB did so well.

Nice what does that mean in english. And that does not look like the officiel Emby app. My guess is this. You did not install your own server, with your own media, on your own hardware ? Your options are (1) install a server. Quick Start (2) ask a friend who runs a server to let you use theirs. (3) access an illegal server (no further instructions here). If someone else's have a talk with them. Emby does not host your server and do not supply media files.

Guess this question it for the Infuse dev's.... They are external to Emby, and there by not affiliated to Emby. Since its working on other Emby apps.

I have Emby running on my Unraid NAS and all my clients play the music fine from my connected devices (Emby app) to a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. Windows, Android, etc. But I was dreaming. I would love to be able to output the audio from my Unraid NAS instead of my Windows computer and cell phones/tablet. Rather the audio coming through my PC to the bluetooth speaker, instead coming out of the NAS server and Windows only the web interface. The benefit would be when I need to listen to something briefly on my PC or other device, I am not playing it over the audio coming out of my PC. I could play a brief Youtube video while the music continues to play through the NAS to my bluetooth speaker. Is that even possible?

Oh, i just mean this: My hope was that we could lower it to 20/30 Mbps at 4K with h265...
