Could someone help me change the skin color? I'd like to create a theme with light colors and a light background, but I don't know how to do it.

Suggestions from emby server not loading in Android tv
ebr replied to buhochileno's topic in Android
Slight possibility it could be the server cache. You could try deleting the cache\images folder under your embyserver folder and see what happens. Note that your apps are going to load a bit slower as the cache is built back up. -

Any plans to add per-device/format exceptions and/or overrides to the transcoding settings? Surely Emby must have some kind of ruleset/config implemented for hardware caps that is user modifiable?

No Trailers on Samsung TV app - taking ages for release still on 2.2.5
vicviper replied to Robnaeyaert's topic in Samsung Smart TV
Too soon to ask for another update to the Samsung situation? I would prefer to not use a separate device just for running a more up-to-date version of Emby. Thank you! -
Please show us exactly what happens when you do this.

I'll see if I can find a file but I am honestly about to purchase an LG tv since none of them have this issue. Thanks for looking into it nonetheless.

Guide Channels Missing USA-OTA36801 Columbus, GA
martincom posted a topic in Emby Provided Guide Data
I'm having two guide issues: 1. WTVM Columbus, GA virtual channels 9.1 and 9.10: We receive guide data for WTVM-ABC, virtual channel 9.1, as expected. However, this channel's signal strength is poor and most of the time it is unwatchable. WTVM broadcasts the identical programming on virtual channel 9.10, via low power translator WCGZ-LD, which has a much stronger signal due to its close proximity to us. This allows us to not only view it, but reliably record from Emby. However, we cannot schedule recordings from virtual channel 9.10 as there is no guide data for it. I see two possible remedies: The guide data service provides listings for virtual channel 9.10, WCGZ-LD which are identical to virtual channel 9.1,WTVM. Would there be some method within Emby to overlay the guide from virtual channel 9.1 to 9.10? 2. The same low power translator, WCGZ-LD, also broadcasts three sub-channels: Virtual channel 47.2, Telemundo Virtual channel 47.3, Peachtree Sports Network Virtual channel 47.4, Outlaw Of interest to us is virtual channel 47.4, Outlaw (westerns channel) there is no guide data being provided for this channel. We'd very much like to see guide data provided for it. -

Suggestions from emby server not loading in Android tv
buhochileno replied to buhochileno's topic in Android
Really? The only one that actually works is the Samsung Tizen app. I also mentioned that I tested with both versions of Emby. It’s the same user on all devices with full permission over the libraries, etc. I think the Onn 4K Pro is "decent hardware". Thank you for the “reset all” suggestion, but all other services are able to properly load content suggestions..... -
POOL Multiple m3u Tuners - No Double or Duplicate Channels
Nostradamus1973 replied to pir8radio's topic in Feature Requests
Good morning, Possible? No worries Luke, it's only been 7 years we've been asking for Emby to properly handle duplicates or pool m3u's, we don't want some haphazard approach, please take your time on this one. Have a great day.- 73 replies

@LukeI could only resolve this issue the following way: 1. Moved the media files outside the library 2. Scan After scanning, 2 of 4 items were removed (the ones I had moved outside the library). The two remaining items were the ones that didn't actually exist 3. Look up the media item in Emby 4. Use "Refresh Metadata" on the remaining non-existant items The item couldn't be found after Refreshing 5. Moved items back into the library 6. Scan No more duplicates. Perhaps this issue stems from something within the metadata causing duplicates.

Shouldn't be impossible. Must admit i hadn't thought about it at all and it's actually a pretty needed feature.

No Trailers on Samsung TV app - taking ages for release still on 2.2.5
FrostByte replied to Robnaeyaert's topic in Samsung Smart TV
No, it's not a server. Just client. You would still use and connect to your current server, so nothing changes there. Just instead of running the Emby app from the TV itself the Emby app is running on a little box connected to your soundbar and the picture only is displayed on your TV. Sort of like hooking up a UHD or BD player. https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/shield/shield-tv-pro/ -
I've another request, should you be up for the challenge... My previous transcode killer had the option of only kicking VIDEO transcodes, as those are the CPU/GPU killers. Transcoding AUDIO for a 4k stream is sometimes required due to codec/client support, but is far less taxing to the server, and generally does not cause any serious impact. Are you able to check for the type of transcode AUDIO/VIDEO and allow a toggle for ALLOWING or PREVENTING each type based on resolution as before? Many thanks!

Hallo Luke, Ich habe mir mal die neueste Beta installiert und werde das später in der Arbeit / Pause testen und am Wochenende in Ruhe und ein Feedback geben. Danke LG Alex

Figured that was the case. Haven't had time to do serious troubleshooting over the past few weeks. I've tried the suggestions from CoPilot, but those haven't worked. I'll keep revisiting until I get it figured out.

Add support of embedded fonts into external ASS subtitles
Steven replied to guilty57's topic in General/Windows
Thanks everyone for the response. Yeah this is more complicated than I had anticipated! I have just extracted all subtitles from all my movies/shows and set as .srt's, so they remain when the file is upgraded etc, and then went down the rabbit hole of wondering how to change the font. Testing this on my PC using MPC I thought it was straightforward until I tested with Emby. I also assumed even just defining the existing font as bold it would have an effect, but then I discovered that the font used was GoNotoKurrent, which doesn't contain other weights. I do find the current font gets a bit swallowed in some scenes keeping it at a reasonable size, due to it being a thin font, but it's a very first world problem. Thanks again for the replies. -

3.5.30 also breaks SW AV1 playback on Nvidia Shield Pro (works in 3.5.16 and apparently was broken in 3.5.28 but fixed again in 3.5.29). If that could be looked at please?

Add support of embedded fonts into external ASS subtitles
guilty57 replied to guilty57's topic in General/Windows
For just this reason, I prefer for a very long time Plex, as it just renders font attached external ass subs without problem. Now, I'm using Plex on android TV os, and infuse on tvos. But Emby is more problem-free than Plex when it is about performance. So, when this is implemented, I'll switch back to Emby.
