Is it better to have Webservice mode on WEBDAV or Http,im using Emby as a Client

They obviously come from Moviedb, since when I blank it out in the metadata they go away, but I don't know how to look in moviedb for these episodes, I suppose this is really my question. If I go here The Diary of a Nobody (2007) — The Movie Database (TMDB) I see only an entry for the show, where are these episodes coming from?

I'm talking about the emby for kodi next gen addon. I don't know, how you install it at the moement, but I assume you use a repository? Install the addon manually (via zip file) not via addon repositories in Kodi. You can download theme here:

I provided logs last time it happened, and they had nothing in them that was relevant. I expect the same is true this time, as it's not an event-based issue: as above, if I try to add a playback command now it simply isn't listed as an option.

Ok when u say Sideload what are you referring to? I install inside Kodi or just on my Nvidia shield pro im confused

Hi. They either come from tvdb or moviedb, depending on which is prioritized higher in your metadata fetcher settings for the library.

Yes, that's all, but for Kodi 22, 12.X plugin version is mandatory. Even the 12.X beta is not the latest version, try the public testing version (manually sideload/install the plugin via zip file).

Sorry my Mistake im using a New Kodi 22 as of today,I Always use Kodinerds,im pretty sure I know how to set up tge Addon but I could be wrong,I use Addon Mode,select my Library's and hit OK? Is that all I need to do?

Will be fixed in next version. There are two issue. One is a plugin issue and the other is a Emby server limtation. Actor artwork will be updated only on Kodi start (in next version). No realtime updates possible, as Emby server does not report actor/person artwork changes via websocket. @LukeMaybe you can support that in next Emby server versions?

Perfect, friend! I had Emby installed on Windows 11 for the first few months until I got a Raspberry Pi. Try going to the gear icon --> Server --> Settings --> Automatic Updates. I think you can disable it there.

I did some experimenting and have discovered that if the cover art file name is the same as the m3u file name then emby sees the cover art and gives you a single image. If the cover art file name is something like "album" or "cover" but different from the m3u file name then emby sees the cover art but generates a collage image. If the cover art file name something random and different from the m3u file name then emby doesn't see it at all. So the secret to being compatible with WiiM seems to be to name the cover art and m3u file both something like "album".

The reason is actually related to keeping the old TV app in-line with new store policies, not that we cannot have two. Once the current beta has run for long enough for me to be comfortable, I'll attempt another release channel update with Google. I give it about a 40% chance of success but we'll see.

Okay, looks like it is falling back to a remux due to an error attempting to direct play it. If you can obtain the android log (the example was with the standard "Emby" app) Luke may be able to tell why it is failing.
