You should have a setting in user display setting.

All tv shows do not show the episode picture unless it is played. If I mark an episode played then the episode picture shows up and the description. I tried removing the identity, reloading metadata, creating a new tv show library and moving a series into it. Still will not show. Any suggestions would help. Not sure what to do besides rebuild it. Thanks for the response @user24it's been a huge help in pinpointing the cause. I attempted to re-tag the albums and noticed it fails to write tags to some tracks, and these are the exact same tracks that have problems in Emby.. So it seems some of the tracks are corrupt. I did a fresh rip today and everything is working as expected. Thanks again

While I'm not trying to be rude... Jellyfin supports now ... Already. Why are some of these features not working??.. and if not working documentation should be better to let people know.. been fighting issues in my thread wasting time thinking it's my system.. when it's just an emby issue.

*** UPDATE *** My Drive had filled up. After some thorough cleansing and compacting, I am back in business.

Thanks! This is by far the most important missing feature for me. Probably the only thing I really need that Emby doesn't already do. I specifically paid for Emby Premiere for the offline play capability, but without these advances, it's not really usable.

Yes but somethings still get stored in the server metadata folder. Also if you tamper with the contents of it, make sure to run the scan metadata folder scheduled task afterwards.

The same a always, they see Emby's name in the app, and can't figure out that Emby is just the software that runs on a server. They don't even read about it, before asking questions.

+1 for me, a cheap used Intel A380 would be a very compelling addition if AV1 HW encoding is implemented. FYI: AV1 playback works on macOS in Chrome and even Safari and with the Android app, I will add further working platforms I encounter. Thanks seanbuff ! hadn't ventured into devices before but should have, I had a ton, probably 30-40. Smart TV's I hadn't had in years, old browser sessions from 2-or 3 years ago, iPad's and iPhones galore, etc. Didn't even have to rename the working one, it was easy to find because all the varients had the "Emby for iOS ver 2.2.xx" labeled and I just deleted all but the latest pair 2.2.51, one for the local and one for the embyconnect user. All's cleaned up now and everything works like a charm - Thanks again !
