Hi, there is no automatic relinking. You can edit externally and then just refresh the metadata on the playlist in Emby after.

Hi, is there any way you could suggest to modify movie playlists? I created a Top 100 movie playlist with the plugin HomeScreenCompanion. As I basically try to upgrade some of my movies from DVD-sources to Bluray.... Is there an (external or internal) way to modify the playlist entry of this movie? (if I for example add a new version of the movie to my database?) (Obviously the movie imdb-id is one reference, and I guess a kind of movie ID inside the emby database) And: As I found out that movies disappear from a playlist, if I move them to another location (change source path). Is there any chance/setting to keep the movie in the playlist (and to kind of "relink" this movie with the new source again?)

Sorry, small error with chapter type set as "Chapter" and not "CreditStart" in your situation. Sorry for that but easy fix. Fixed in the newest version (v2.7.6.0). There is also a fix to the ffmpeg session flicker in the UI when using OCR detection.

I know the official Spotlight is coming soon... but yours is already awesome. Since I didn't understand almost any of the possibilities – and didn't really feel like delving into it – I asked claude to create a simple visual version for me using drag and drop. You can see the result in the video. The html-file can be downloaded below. The html preview isn't a perfect match, but it gives a visual glimpse of how it will look in Emby. Trailers not working in the html - but if activated they show up in Emby. I also added some more effects. I've just watched a couple of these episodes, but no input came up when the credit chapter started - Nvidia Shield, tried both AndroidTV and Android apps both the same. First I thought I'd check view chapter markers, which were all blank even though I had run this show specifically. I had previously ticked all shows in the Auto Skip section as Ideally I wouldn't want everything to be auto skipped just in case. I unticked Criminal Minds and ran manual detection again which seemingly used the chapter makers it previously made and now they appear in the image above. However still no prompts nor autoskipping.

Ok, so I'm now running the 4.10 beta I shutdown Emby and put the HomeScreenCompanion.dll in the plugins folder Restarted Emby, but can't see HomeScreenCompanion anywhere - what am I missing? I think a few of my plugins aren't working either - for example, I installed CoverArt but can't see how I access it? I can modify the settings in the Plugin, but can't see how I actually use the plugin?

It use to be that the trailer name shown is whatever comes after a dash "-". For your Emby version it is probably the dash, that is causing the name to be shortened. That may have been fixed with the latest beta. But then, I just stopped using a dash in the trailer name, when I noticed this issue. Try removing the dash.

At the moment, Ear Wax is an Alexa skill rather than a standalone Android/iOS app. It connects Alexa to your own self-hosted Emby music library, so Ear Wax does not host or store your music. I don't have a dedicated public webpage for it yet. And yes, if avoiding Alexa/Amazon services is a requirement, the current version probably isn't a fit for you. I am working on a mobile version that would bring the Ear Wax experience directly to the phone without requiring Alexa. Android is the first target, but that work is still in development, so I don't want to claim compatibility with Google-free Android devices until I've actually tested and defined those requirements. The self-hosting part is very much intentional, though, the goal is to use your own music library rather than replace it with another cloud music service.

I haven't heard of this program. Do you have a dedicated webpage to learn about it? I assume it is a mobile app (Android/iOS). Does it require proprietary frameworks? I run a Google free phone. *edit - ah, you use Alexa. I wouldn't use for that reason alone. I try to self host as much as possible.

I'm seeing this: However, once I download the middle image, it seems perfect. JPG images, 3000x4000, taken with a Samsung phone. Tried to cut this cameraupload item from the json forcing my phone to reupload. But after reupload, still it's the same. Can I somehow "force" Emby to rerender this single image?

Ha — that explains it perfectly, and it's a fair assumption: same name, same courtyard. Opposite ends of the setup, though — that one drives your *arr stack, this one just plays things on the TV.
