All types of Movie extras are incorrectly categorized as "Extras".
RanmaCanada replied to LZSYSTEM's topic in General/Windows
Pretty sure that is how it is contained. I don't remember there ever being support for having these folders show up with their content, as said content. They all just get tossed into "extras". I think it's on the dev teams to do list, with so many other features. Maybe staff will chime in and give you a knowledgeable answer. -

As the title suggests, after naming subfolders according to the specifications, all content, including "Special Programs," "Interviews," and other subfolders, is categorized as "Additional Content" on the video details page. There are no nested folder errors; the content of all subfolders is correctly recognized, even the "other" folder. Only the "Trailers" folder's content is not recognized. I am using version 4.9.3.0, and I have set the "Multi-Version Item Detection" in the media library to "File-Based Multi-Version Item Detection." I don't know the cause of the problem or how to solve it. I haven't considered whether the issue occurred after the update; should I roll back to a previous version? t - Today

Is it named correctly to do so? Can you show us how you've organized the file structure? -

That's because it's not a different series on its own, but rather Season 2 of the existing Jury Duty series https://www.thetvdb.com/series/jury-duty/seasons/official/2 -
Hi. That doesn't look like it is a grid. Try setting "Group By" to None.

I have a pioneer fire tv, maybe 2021 & os version 7.7.0.8. I noticed recently it's transcoding my AV1 including audio files but I dont believe it ever did that before. I searched & found 1or 2 old articles. My emby server is current & im using android for emby, not the fire tv version. I know.I haven't uploaded any files, but is this a bug or something with amazon? Thanks Dom

Hi. Without knowing how the file was being played we can only guess why. To know exactly why, we would need any ffmpeg logs created and would need to know what the media information contains. What does the media information show for that item? At the bottom of the web app in the about section it shows this. Were any ffmpeg logs created for that time? They would also show that information. Thanks.

Its imdb number seems to be (if I found the right one) tt22074164, so maybe identify series and enter that in the imdb box. -

Hi my friends, hope you’re doing great? For my part I’m having some very painful difficulties with my Emby server running the 4.9.3.0 version. I'm starting to get increasingly discouraged by the situation I'm in, which isn't allowing me to use my Emby server. I can’t even have the time en enjoy one of my favorite movie or series. Can’t listen to anything anymore on my TV :’( My medias are constantly freezing I hope you can help me with this rather sad situation. I am also ready to provide you with any additional information you may need. Thanks in advance my friend! Increase Number of Items Displayed on Home Screen
visproduction replied to Dizzy49's topic in General/Windows
The search select number is in the .js file. It use to be set as 16. Changing the width is not going to make more entries appear. When you do change this number, the amount listed by row can change, but it goes back to the default, after every update and you would have to go back into the .js file to change the select value again. The steps to do this exactly has already been described in the forum for older versions and it might still be correct. Just search the forum for these steps. Some people tend to pick posters that are quite large and hence make the home page heavier. The maximum size that a poster can appear is something around 640 x 428. Technically, picking exactly that size in a moderately compresed jpg copy, would be helpful to keep the page weight down. At the most, choosing posters that are exactly twice the max height would result in clean looking images whenever they are presented. If you double the number of posters available on a row and you have 5 libraries, you could be adding perhaps 64 MB image weight to the home page. With Broadband connection, this could add about 73 seconds to the initial page load for all posters when they are scrolled. This is the main reason why number of posters are limited to around 16 per row. This makes the home page more efficient. For anyone on a local server with a decent CPU, the page load speed is not visible. But if you are remote and downloading with perhaps a lot of hops between you and the server and with heavy traffic online and all posters are full size high quality 2000 x 3000 pixels, then initial home page load speeds are going to be slow. Technically, if you have a sluggish home page load speed, the popularity of the site suffers. There is around 50% of users that leave a site that does not appear on mobile within 3 seconds. 80% of visitors will not return, if they feel the page is slow. You can be the low percentage of users who want to have 40 or 60 posters for each library row, but if this causes remote users to wait more than 3 seconds, this choice is destroying the popularity of the site, overall. It would not be prudent to create a design that results in a slow home page load for some users. Of interest: https://www.sitebuilderreport.com/website-speed-statistics -
For me, I can access my server remotely now.
