Okay, so you can drag them, but only as far as the top of the screen. If you want to drag them further than that, you have to drag to the top of the screen, drop it, scroll, drag to the top of the screen, drop it, scroll...as many times as it takes to get where you want to go. screen-20260629-201141[1].mp4

Correct. I would just clean the coming movie section up and remove an available film from it, perhaps via daily task or a task connected to the library scan. Most users have the Radarr profiles set up in a way, that when e.g. a Radarr item is downloaded (e.g. a Web-DL) it gets still monitored until a Bluray release is available. I would leave any unmonitoring in Radarr or Sonarr to the user.

Hi @kaj, i am interested to test your solution, sounds interesting; im into music and the wife is into audiobooks. My GPU is a 4090 9800x3d and the library is 70K tracks. In case its of interest Ive been testing https://github.com/saitatter/pylrcget . In particular changing plain text lyrics into timed text lyrics where none exist with various amounts of success, maybe that's functionally adjacent to what your doing.

I noticed if i go back into emby after long time (after player went to sleep, powered down...), and let's say an episode played 50%, if i'm too fast it happens, BUT if i let the theme.mp3 play first then it resumed fine ? not sure if it helps..

It didn't do anything different for me. Do I need to update anything on my end?

Yeah, I've noticed that the more time passed the greater are the chances it will happen. But I will test it out to see if it happens after a few minutes or something. I'm not sure about this anymore. I will test this too.

Hi, there's a bug in the new Samsung version 2.3.8. It turns out that if I try to watch a series with external .ass subtitles, it doesn't recognize the file and always displays this error: "There was an error processing the request. Please try again later." And there's no way to view the file. This didn't happen with version 2.3.4, which is the one I had. It only happens with .ass files. If there are no subtitles, it works fine, but if there are .ass subtitles, it gives this error. To be able to view these files, I had to install the version that came with the TV, version 2.2.8.

Correct. This needs a fix in Emby Server which hasn't been merged.

Just to weigh in on this, I believe this would be a killer feature. Do any of the other media servers have this feature? If not, I believe this would be a big draw. I think that many of us have a mental image of the actors frozen in time. Too often more recent photo are set as the actor image. I would like to see actors in their most recognizable age or role.

Because traffic is rerouted through Plex servers whenever remote server is unreachable; with Emby, every connection is direct server-client connection, no redirecting. How are your remote users connecting to your server: IP, domain name, Emby Connect?

You didn't mention your OS, if Windows, check your windows firewall... sometimes something about Public/Private gets screwy with Windows.

Hello All. Im an ex Plexer, now moved over to Emby and I have an issue....... Basically, I had plex working a treat of my PC, never ever went offline for remote users but Emby seems to be doing it every few days. A quick "restart Emby server" fixes the issue but why should i have to keep doing that. I only know its offline when one of my mates text me and moan. Internally for all the TV's in the house it never goes offline, its always available. Any ideas, is there something obvious ive missed here??? Thanks People

so the plugin would read in the monitored but unfulfilled movies from radarr, understand them as "coming soon" and create a placeholder movie on emby so Users can see the movie is coming soon. And if necessary provide a webhook to radarr to support deletion (or move) of the coming placeholder movie, when radarr is about to make the real one go live? Or just clean the coming soon movie up on a scheduled task, when radarr stops reporting it as coming soon (because radarr has made it live itself, or its no longer coming soon due to change of mind). have i got the gist?

Again, its not the size... The only thing that will completely solve this would be to eliminate that type of treatment and only have ones with more square edges or to have an option in the app(s) to not show a container background if a valid image loads.
