MaxCDN (http://www.maxcdn.com) has graciously offered to provide space and bandwidth for Media Browser on their content delivery network. MaxCDN has a history of supporting FOSS (Free Open Source Software) projects and we are thankful to join the list of beneficiaries of this generous company. Their own software infrastructure makes use of FOSS, and this is their way of giving back to the open source community. For more information on FOSS projects supported by MaxCDN, visit http://www.maxcdn.com/company/open-source/

MaxCDN's support allows us to get updates to you quickly and reliably without putting undue stress on our limited online resources. If you and/or your employer find yourselves in need of CDN services, please give MaxCDN your consideration.

What does this mean to the average user ??

Will they be hosting the updates/downloads etc. ??

The average user will not notice anything different other than perhaps a download speed improvement as the downloads will be available on the MaxCDN "Edge" network (potentially significantly closer to the end user). Nothing will change as far as user interaction goes.

There is no better way for a company to gain my respect than support the open source community. Thanks MaxCDN. I will keep you in mind!
