Emby Server Now Available for Additional Western Digital NAS Devices

We now have packages for twelve Western Digital NAS models, where previously we had just four. The supported models are now:

  • My Cloud DL2100
  • My Cloud DL4100
  • My Cloud PR2100
  • My Cloud PR4100
  • My Cloud EX2
  • My Cloud EX2100
  • My Cloud EX2 Ultra
  • My Cloud EX4100
  • My Cloud Mirror Gen 1
  • My Cloud Mirror Gen 2
  • My Cloud Gen 1
  • My Cloud Gen 2

Download

https://emby.media/western-digital-server.html

Everything is self-contained within the package so there are no dependencies. We use the .NET core runtime on models that support it, otherwise we use the mono runtime. Enjoy !

I choose the bin file from my downloads folder. The mycloud gen 2 device fails to install the firmware. I have confirmed that my mycloud is indeed a gen 2 and that is the bin file I have tried to install about a handful of times now

I tried again and still no luck. Guess maybe it's just not meant to be.

  • The app you are trying to install is for My Cloud OS 3 which is not compatible with the My Cloud OS 5. Please check the app version and try again.

I did just update to OS 5 too. =(
