You do not have to be an Insider.  Just update your Windows to the latest Creators Update which came out this week.

No problems with yours? I do custom install and firewall rules I break windows down over time.

 

I think all the spyware to me it is anyways, had a effect on my update but image was clean returned no errors, some thing I had disabled was making it act up rolled backl fresh and threw Beta server on for Emby and deferred for now I tested a bit on Insider seems a little better did at that time.

The only problem I had was a few drivers for some hardware that were throwing errors in Event Viewer (NIC, touch pad on laptop, etc).  So I had to go to ​the vendor websites to download the latest drivers because Windows didn't have the latest.

 

That and for some reason any of the large Windows updates always seems to delete the Emby service when I'm running as a service.  Reinstalling Emby from the web site added the service back though and all is good now.

Should this work on LiveTv & next, I've installed it (and update the emby theatre app) but the server is still transcoding the stream to the Windows 10 Emby theatre app.
