If you use Chrome on Android and have Chrome 57 (currently beta) installed, you'll be in for a treat the next time you play media with the Emby web app. We've added support for lock screen controls, which allow you to control playback from the device lock screen.

 

Try It Now

 

This is immediately available to enjoy with the online web app at http://app.emby.media

 

It is also in the Emby Server beta channel and will be included in the next stable release.

Chrome music playback and lockscreen controls are much better than the Android app. One would think the actual Emby app would be the optimized version, but I'll take it!
