A small update to the previous release has gone out. The following issues are resolved:

  • Explicitly define SchedulesDirect request dates
  • Reduce CPU utilization by reducing frequency of image encoding
  • Adjust subtitle positions in web client when OSD is showing (supported in Chrome only)
  • Remove yellow backgrounds from login screens in Chrome
  • Improve upgrade process from older server versions

Enjoy :)

on Windows it shows update available but when I click update it doesn't do anything.  Tried restarting server and forcing a scheduled task check for product update again but it won't update.

I have noticed this also, but you can update from the Download page also.

Same experience as smokey7722, update button didn't seem to do anything.  I was able to successfully upgrade using the setup.exe downloaded from the website, though.

Some nice improvements there!

I downloaded the manual Linux install ie MediaBrowser.Mono.zip from Github as per usual, but it is still reporting as 3.0.5781.1 on the Emby Server Dashboard after replacing. Is this a bug with displaying the correct version or has the MediaBrowser.Mono.zip not been updated yet on Github?

Cheers.

I had the same issue. To solve it I enabled automatic updates and then ran check for updates in scheduled tasks and it installed.

Sorry, but the MediaBrowser.Mono.zip from Github isn't up-to-date yet.
