The person object updates - does it means it also stops the websocket message received when the scheduled task "refresh people" runs?

Just a little side note

 

I think it is very confusing, where you have the announcements area in forum, and then the blog area.  I say this because sometimes new releases are posted in the Blog area (which I had never even noticed before) and at times they are posted in the announcements area.  

 

I think at the very least if you are going to announce a new version, it should appear in both areas.  I just automatically look at the announcement portion, to see if there have been changes.

 

Just food for thought.

Just update the emby server to 3.0.5781.1, and now none of my videos are playing anymore.   I used web client, used roku3, and WMC...  it will not play.  

I love what EMBY is doing & appreciate the work you folks are putting in for Live TV. However, I had a nasty surprise this weekend. Had about a years worth of recordings on my main PC done through WMC. I was accessing and playing a recording through EMBY on my new Fire TV Box. Once it ended it asked me if I wanted to delete that file, I said yes. Next morning I look on my HTPC and my ENTIRE library of Recording from the last year is totally wiped!?!

 

Is this issue the one that is addressed in this update? I dont back up my recordings very often-is there any way to get back all of these recordings on my main HTPC that EMBY just deleted?
