A small update has been pushed out to resolve a few issues and bring a few enhancements.

 

New Video Loading

 

When you play content in the web client, you'll now be treated to a new and improved loading screen.

New and Improved Xbox One DLNA

 

Support for DLNA with Xbox One has been vastly improved. You'll now enjoy:

  • PlayTo issues resolved
  • Streaming issues resolved with Xbox Media Player
  • Checkmarks for watched content
  • Resume progress bars
  • Unwatched count indicators
  • Beautiful dynamic images

Other Issues Resolved

  • Episode metadata getting lost after upgrading video file
  • Video Ref frame count not being recorded
  • Live TV not working in Safari
  • PlayTo not working with MediaMonkey (this fix may benefit other DLNA media players)
  • Safari "Add to Homescreen" feature not hiding address bar

Is it just me or does the web client feel a lot snappier :)

Ugh, but putting the preferences as the first menu choice? It used to be you hovered over the menu option, when it floated you just clicked again to go home. Now preferences is under the menu spot. Not good ergonomically.

I would prefer it optional or at the bottom.  Now I find my self going to my preferences instead of home every time.

Is anyone having issue's with the Roku plugin with this server? It didn't seem to run on any of my new shows. It normally runs just fine.

Still get low quality transcode, playback dropouts and unexplained server crashes..

 

I love emby's design but I keep needing to return to universal media server for its functionality :(

We have linux but stay tuned on Xbox 360 Dlna. That should be perfected soon enough.
