swhitmore 781
Is he like the overseer of Emby? Why is he signing Emby Applications? What's his relation to Emby? Mark is a long time Dev. He works mostly with Android now I believe. @@Redshirt Edit: Just checked, he is currently working on Tiamat - New Android Living Room Client Edited May 25, 2016 by swhitmore
speechles 1917
#1 No he is not. #2 I suspect because he originally developed the app as a third party developer and donated "the keys" to his developer id to the official team to use so the customers of his app could be easily migrated to the official app that replaced it. #3 He is a third party developer. There were sour grapes twice between him and emby developers. It is not a great conversation to have about the mediabrowser/emby project and some third party developers. Redshirt has officially quit contributions to emby and will never be back, his words not mine. Maybe someone else cares to expand this answer? Read the tiamat thread on these forums to learn more. It was a third party android app that was beautiful and feature filled. It never got to see life beyond a limited beta given to a few testers. RIP. dylanger 0
Thanks guys, I just wanted this confirmed from a Security Standpoint. I don't know what the process of re-keying an apk is, but maybe something to think about Edited May 25, 2016 by Luke
