How do I play .iso?

Would have thought this would work but being pretty much new to Emby maybe there is something else I need to do?.

Anyway none of my iso's will play either on Amazon Fire TV or on the server itself.

 

Please tell me what I need to do and how , I can see nothing in Emby that suggestions I need to install anything else nor any config which enables me to set anything up.

We'd need some more information on what exactly is inside those ISOs but, generally, your best bet will be to start the process of converting them to a more modern file format.

 

We do support playback of ISOs in direct-play clients that can support it (like WMC or MBT) but, in streaming clients like the Fire TV or a web browser it will only sometimes work.

 

I'm pretty sure that we're the only product that even supports that sometimes.  The industry has moved away from disc-based formats so none of the tools we need support them very well.
