If I enable Video Preview Thumbnails for my Library's where are these saved if I don't "Tick" the option Save video preview thumbnails into media folders  I Don't want them in with the media for space saving reason however the Emby Metadata folder is on its own dedicated SSD so I am hoping much like plex this is where it will be saved?

Yes they will be saved in the /metadata folder.  Pretty sure /metadata/library/xx/xxxxxxxxxxxx.  You should see the exact path in your log but not sure if it is a debug logging or not.

Depending on the size of your library BIF files will quickly eat up a lot of storage space. Far cheaper to get another traditional HDD or use cloud storage than SSD IMO.

Maybe its irrelevant, but I think I read somewhere that Plexes default time interval for thumbs is 2 seconds, whereas for Emby (or maybe its just me) its 10 seconds.
