emby connect down?

Hi guys. Is emby connect down? I'm not able to log in via connect from any source (ie. iphone app, browser, etc). Message indicates my username or password is incorrect, but it is not.

HI, it's not down. Are you trying to login using the same credentials as your forum account?

yes, correct. I've had it set up for years now and it just stopped working. Likely I'm doing something wrong though. lol.

Hi, try this.

On your server go to the user menu.  Pick your user and remove the Emby Connect username and click save at the bottom.
Then put your Emby Connect user name back in and click save again.

Let us know if it works after that.

Hi guys. Unfortunately I still haven’t been able to get it to work. The trick that @cayars mentioned did sort of work, in that it allowed me to log in, but I’m not able to connect to my server. Here are the sequential screenshots.

Also if you go to www.canyouseeme.org and test using your Emby port (likely 8096 or 8920) does it fail or connect?

Thanks guys. Looks like my port forwarding was reset somehow at the router level. I re-added it and all is good. Thanks again.
