OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 I’ve commented on multiple different places but we have serious issues with the Next up/Continue Watching enhancement and please stop acting like it’s an issue with me or like I’m an idiot. I can create a brand new user completely and see the same behavior. Something isn’t right. Here are a few examples, the shows are all marked as I watched yet it’s a few random episodes showing next up. This isn’t right. The blacklist says Season 7 is the starting point. I’ve refreshed metadata, marked everything watched, unchecked and rechecked, nothing changes. I’ve noticed it mostly testing on shows that have been watched at some point. So for instance that last image is better call Saul, it was all watched, i unchecked all and it starts me at Season 5 Episode 1, that episode is not paused anywhere, it’s just random.
OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 Even some of the episode orders are out of whack, like why is episode 3 all the way at the end here?
Solution OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 21, 2021 Author Solution Posted June 21, 2021 A reinstall appears to have fixed it, in case anyone else runs into this. MAKE SURE YOU DO A BACKUP.
ebr 16199 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi. Next up is going to show you the first unwatched episode after the last one you watched. So, it would be possible to get some of the results you are seeing if you've last watched some episodes in the middle of those series. As for the out of order one, check the metadata and be sure season and episode number are correct and that you aren't using absolute numbering or something like that.
ebr 16199 Posted June 21, 2021 Posted June 21, 2021 Just now, schoepp23 said: A reinstall appears to have fixed it That would be because doing that would clear all of your watched data.
OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 ebr, there def is some type of bug, I was just going to mark this as resolved, but I don't have that access anymore. I have some friends who have noticed this too, I will have them also do a reinstall. Would you mind marking this as solved for me please.
OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 21, 2021 Author Posted June 21, 2021 Right but the backup keeps the watch history, so this had to be some type of cache issue.
OSBuckeyes4Life 12 Posted June 22, 2021 Author Posted June 22, 2021 Morning Luke, my other friends did a reinstall and they are seeing it show correctly as well. Only issue is with 60,000 TV Episodes and 8,500 Movies, the metadata scan takes forever haha.
