deniscerri 2 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Here is my problem. All these shows, except for The Office have a backdrop in them. Since they have that, they only show the backdrop instead of a picture showing what is inside the episode. I have to manually delete backdrops for my shows so i can finally see what the next episode will be about. Is there a way to uncheck backdrop download or uncheck backdrop showing in continue watching section. I am good with either option. Thank you
Happy2Play 9785 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 Only way alternate image is ever used is if primary image is missing. Episodes do not have a backdrop only Series level does. And technically that row shows the Series Thumb/landscape if present. Can you show what images you have for Series and Episode.
deniscerri 2 Posted June 3, 2021 Author Posted June 3, 2021 I removed backdrop in invincible and the episode cover shows up. All shows have their own image present, just like this show above.
Happy2Play 9785 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 (edited) As you can see the Serie backdrop is used on that screen/view ie not the episode in your images. Home Screen rows use images in a specific order, I believe Continue Watching/Next Up uses Series Thumb/Landscape, Series Backdrop. Episode level is not used. No the View for itemdetails is a different view and the Next Up Row does use the Episode image. Edited June 3, 2021 by Happy2Play
deniscerri 2 Posted June 3, 2021 Author Posted June 3, 2021 Alright, so can i remove them in bulk then? I just want to see the episode images in Continue Watching, not the series image.

I just want to see the episode images in Continue Watching, not the series image. You would have to ensure there are no Thumb or Backdrop images at Series level. So you would have to delete any existing thumb/landscape and backdrop/fanart image in Series. Also go to the library settings enable Show Advance option and scroll down to Series Image Fetchers and click Fetcher Settings disable noted images and set backdrops to 0. Now Continue Watching will show the Episode image. Look like this image is third in priority.
deniscerri 2 Posted June 3, 2021 Author Posted June 3, 2021 Thanks for that. Also, how come you are able to still have your backdrop and also show the episode image at the same time?

I had to delete them in order for that row to show that episode primary image. Unless you are talking about backdrop color as I am using the Blue Radiance theme and you are using Dark theme.
