TheWERLD 3 Posted June 3, 2021 Posted June 3, 2021 (edited) Hey guys/gals, maybe I'm not using it right but is there a way to identify a specific user when they use a browser or device? Let's say USER1 uses Emby with Chrome then USER2 logs in with Chrome as well, they both appear as "Chrome" on the Devices list. Another example, is a user logged in from their Fire Stick but the name of their stick is called "Fire Stick 4K" I have no way of verifying who is the owner of that Fire Stick unless I start contacting each user. All my examples are posted in the screenshot below. Is there a way to differentiate each user using a browser or device? If not, hopefully the username can be posted next to every device as an identifier. Thanks for reading Edited June 3, 2021 by TheWERLD
Solution rbjtech 5284 Posted June 3, 2021 Solution Posted June 3, 2021 (edited) What browser is that ? Under devices, I get a totally different view showing the device name, client version number the last user on that device and when they last time they were using that device ? edit - Ah - check the ... next to the number of devices and make sure it says 'Primary' - not 'List' Edited June 3, 2021 by rbjtech 1
TheWERLD 3 Posted June 3, 2021 Author Posted June 3, 2021 Yup, I was simply unaware. Thanks for the help!
Luke 42080 Posted June 4, 2021 Posted June 4, 2021 Yes looks like you changed the display to list, and in list view we haven't added that additional information yet.
