I have had Emby for several years and streamed movies from my desktop to my 3 televisions for those years. That worked until November 2023. In December 2023 (this year) it stopped working. Since then I have re-installed Emby a few times and it always worked on my desktop pc. But it still did not work on my televisions. It always asks for my password and rejects it everytime. I have reset my password a few times this month and it rejects it everytime. It recognizes me on the desktop (shows my name) and it knows my email address since it sends me emails and all of this information shows up on the dash board. The firewall has been reset per Emby's directions and suggestions. The re-installations shows Emby in my programs. But double clicking on that shows no response at all. So, if you have any additional valid suggestions please let me know. But read lines 3, 4,an 5 of this response before asking me another question that has already been answered. 1
pwhodges 2036 Posted December 17, 2023 Posted December 17, 2023 Are you using Emby Connect or a local login? If Connect, have you tried clearing the users' links to Connect and then redefining them? Paul
