I have a movie with two versions, MP4 and m2ts.

Is there any way to change the names in the drop list so I can differentiate them w/o selecting them and taking a guess from that?

I can't do it via 'edit metadata' because it shows only the m2ts file.

This is covered in the movie naming guide.  In summary, your file names (before the extension) must be the same as the containing directory name, followed by a dash and then the text you want to distinguish them by: multi.jpg.a199d038f0e6737972ff2b3b06498895.jpg

There is a similar convention for episodes of series, but it is not identical - only text from the first character that differs is used in that case, which can be a pain!

Perfect - thanks much!  I didn't think about the naming guide...
