Directory/File Naming Convention for TV

Hi,

I have a number of TV series on Emby and they work perfectly. With one exception.

I have a number of DVD rips of the Dick Cavett Show. Those DVDs are not sold nor sorted by season/episode. Rather, it is by topic. I have the following directories under my TV\Dick Cavett Show directory, each of which corresponds to a different DVD:

John & Yoko

Comic Legends

Hollywood Greats

Rock Icons

Each directory has a number of MP4 files in it (one for each episode). I have Emby set to order by directory rather than series, etc. and am trying to figure out what naming convention to use to get the episodes to display when I click on "Comic Legends" (for example). Emby either puts them into various seasons and/or does not display all of the episodes.

Thanks, I hadn't noticed the date format section (as shown below in case anyone else has this issue) before, that solved the problem.

• anything_1996.11.14.ext
• anything_1996-11-14.ext
• anything_14.11.1996.ext
