bigembyfan 63 Posted March 26, 2021 Posted March 26, 2021 Hi, I've tried a few times to switch from Schedules Direct to Emby Guide Data but could never get past an error retrieving the Line Ups so always stuck with SD and took out a new yearly subscriiption earlier this year to SD but have now received the email from them to say this will stop being available in June for Emby Premiere users so I've asked for a cancellation and refund from SD (and now see the threads about this in the forum). I'm in the UK and after typing in my postcode (I've tried with spaces, eg AB1 1BA and without, eg AB11BA), I always get the following error: There was an error downloading TV lineups. Please ensure your information is correct and try again. Looking via web developer tools I can see a 500 Bad Request response to calls to: https://.../emby/LiveTv/ListingProviders/Lineups?Location... Checking the logs I can also see the following errors logged: 2021-03-26 16:24:30.767 Info HttpClient: GET https://data.tmsapi.com/v1.1/lineups?country=GBR&postalCode=... 2021-03-26 16:24:30.825 Error Server: Error processing request *** Error Report *** Version: 4.5.4.0 Command line: C:\Users\MediaServer\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system\EmbyServer.dll -service Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10.0.19041 Framework: .NET Core 3.1.9 OS/Process: x64/x64 Runtime: C:/Users/MediaServer/AppData/Roaming/Emby-Server/system/System.Private.CoreLib.dll Processor count: 8 Data path: C:\Users\MediaServer\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\programdata Application path: C:\Users\MediaServer\AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\system MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: MediaBrowser.Model.Net.HttpException: BadRequest at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsyncInternal(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpClientManager.CoreHttpClientManager.SendAsync(HttpRequestOptions options, String httpMethod) at Emby.LiveTV.Listings.Gracenote.Gracenote.GetLineups(ListingsProviderInfo info, String country, String location, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at MediaBrowser.LiveTV.Api.LiveTvService.Get(GetLineups request) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceController.GetTaskResult(Task task) at Emby.Server.Implementations.Services.ServiceHandler.ProcessRequestAsync(HttpListenerHost appHost, IRequest httpReq, IResponse httpRes, RestPath restPath, String responseContentType, CancellationToken cancellationToken) at Emby.Server.Implementations.HttpServer.HttpListenerHost.RequestHandler(IRequest httpReq, ReadOnlyMemory`1 urlString, ReadOnlyMemory`1 localPath, CancellationToken cancellationToken) Source: Emby.Server.Implementations TargetSite: Void MoveNext() and: 2021-03-26 16:24:30.825 Info Server: http/1.1 Response 500 to ::1. If more info is needed I can try and dig that out / answer that. Thanks!
Solution Spaceboy 2573 Posted March 26, 2021 Solution Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) stop at AB1 in your example. i.e., just enter this first half of the postcode and search on that Edited March 26, 2021 by Spaceboy 1
bigembyfan 63 Posted March 26, 2021 Author Posted March 26, 2021 Amazing, what a fool I am Thanks for the quick response and helping with that, it solved it straight away.
bigembyfan 63 Posted March 26, 2021 Author Posted March 26, 2021 (edited) To anyone who can tweak the Knowledge Base I spotted a typo shown in the attached image - from: https://support.emby.media/support/solutions/articles/44001848801 - it should say "...your Postal Code.." and not "..our Postal Code.." I think and then a note about only requiring the first part of the post code would really help too! Cheers Edited March 26, 2021 by bigembyfan
