Not sure what new function you are looking for but the Android TV app has always scoped the search to the library you are in.

A million and one little thing peeps didn't request, but features peeps have repeatedly requested being igonore.

Why is it the android tv app only, this search behaviour should be the same on all apps or via browser. Why is it on android tv and not the rest? Why isn't this consistent across all app ecosystem?

I think that having a certain amount of variety does not hurt - rather the opposite: it keeps us from feeling too satisfied with every design decision that has been made at some point. Asking for feature XY from one app variant to be available in another one is totally legitimate and having it there rather increases chances to have it there as well. We aim to provide all features in all apps as far as possible, but differences in details always exist and not everything matches everybody's wishes and desires, so for example I wouldn't recommend you to make a post in this topic, demanding that all apps should be exactly equal..
IAmHugh 78 Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM Posted yesterday at 10:45 AM (edited) For those that want the same design across all platforms simply NO. Micro**** tried that with computers, phones, tablets, etc and they failed miserly. Apple on the other hand took into account the sheen sizes and designed there OS to work with the particular screen. softworkz 5368 Posted 57 minutes ago Posted 57 minutes ago @IAmHugh I'm afraid, I still don't see how this relates to the subject of this conversation. Maybe you accidentally responded to the wrong topic? 1
