Book not having metadata and can't identify

The folder is like

Book/Later (2020).epub

But no metadata or image showing on server. I can't even identify the book.

I feel like I'm missing something, why do you have a library option for books if the server cannot identify books?

Hi, Likely because it was asked for.  Both books and Games are sort of unique library types that are only usable on a few platforms as they require external players.
Some people just want a way to orderly manage these types.

But as Luke said, Book identity is something planned for the future.
