JERRY1 17 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 I recently connected a external hard drive to my nas. I added 3 folders, Horror , movies2 & tvshows2. For some reason the movies that are in the movie folder is showing in tvshows. When i go to emby server it says no files in movie folder but i can see the files in there
Guest Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Did you check the path to make sure it was correct, I noticed the paths look different in the screenshots ( from each other ). They should show relatively the same except the last folder of the entry.
JERRY1 17 Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 I double checked ,even did it over ,same results. That is the correct path, i marked them with yellow x. The yellow x is the external hard drive
Luke 42085 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Can you list out the full paths for each of those libraries as they are bring truncated due to length. Thanks,
Solution Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 14, 2021 Solution Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Your issues is /share/easystore is the parent folder of /share/easystore/Movies2. No library can be a subfolder of another library. So you need to make a /share/easystore/TV Shows2 folder and move all Shows into it. @JERRY1 Edited March 14, 2021 by Happy2Play
JERRY1 17 Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 That is how i have it now, but i will start over do it from scratch. Picture is how it is right now
Luke 42085 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 Right but you haven't set it up that way in Emby server. That's what he's getting at.
Happy2Play 9783 Posted March 14, 2021 Posted March 14, 2021 (edited) Correct you set the folder path wrong for your TV library as is should be TVSHOWS2 not the parent folder. @JERRY1 Edited March 14, 2021 by Happy2Play
JERRY1 17 Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 Thanks i got it. Don't know how that happened but again thanks
JERRY1 17 Posted March 14, 2021 Author Posted March 14, 2021 I know what happened now, the name tvshows2 was never in the file path, When you asked for the full path i assume it was complete, i were thinking the name was little long why it weren't showing up in the picture but it was never there. From now on will pay close attention to the entire path, all is ok now ,thanks again for the help as always
