Hey so I was adding a new season that I have multiple seasons of and just randomly my library decided to merge all of them together. Found out you can toggle that off but doing so didn't help. I like to be able to access each individual season from my home menu under the Latest Media subsection, but now I have to go into the Kamen Rider series folder first. Any thoughts? Would leaving out the Kamen Rider Part in file explorer and then adding it in the metadata later help maybe?

How did you add those seasons under your Library setting: as individual folders or single Kamen Rider folder?

All the folders in the Kamen Rider folder in file explorer get merged into a single folder on my server. The one that says 202 files is usually separate seasons of the same show like the surrounding ones.

What is the path you inserted in your Library setting? Care to share a screenshot?

My library that I have added to my server is the "Tokusatsu" folder from image 1. Emby usually in the past has kept everything in the following folders from image 2 separated.

Merge option applies to series spread accross multiple folders - in your case they are all inside single folder, as per your path settings, Kamen Rider has been identified and seasons underneath presented so. You need to move those seasons folder one level up, untick "Merge" option and rescan Library.

Okay so basically, and this could be wrong, what your saying is because all the folders have Kamen Rider in the name they'll merge no matter what. Taking all of them out of the folder that they're currently in one level and then unticking merge plus the re-scan is how it should work?

No, but because they are all placed inside single Kamen Rider folder. Taking them out should give the result you're after, yes.

Edit: Alternatively, adding ...Tokusatsu\Kamen Rider instead of ...Tokusatsu as Library path would produce same result - but that would also affect all other series under 'Tokusatsu' folder.
