Macburp 112 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 OK, so my setup includes MBC on an Xbox and a NowTV box. Unusually the Now TV box was being used. I turn on the xbox as usual and try to log in to MBC - MCE claims the server is not found. Now I know the server is on, because of the NowTV box - so, I'm very puzzled. I can open the web client, IOS app on the missus's ipad - just not MBC. Port 8096 is open, no firewalls enabled. Try and find your server again using the MBC Configurator and ensure that the address to the server is correct there. 2

Went into the configurator, which was set to find the server automatically. Put in the IP address and port, them WMC found the server straight away. Haven't yet tried this on the extender, but no reason to suppose it won't work Thanks,
