HDHomerun channel "X" vs Emby parental control tag "hide" / any performance benefit

anyway, my question is, is it better to turn off the channels in hdhomerun channel menu "X" or to use the parental control to not show "hide" tags for those channels in the metadata?

or does it not matter performance wise in the emby guide listing.

Hi.  If you will never want to see that channel, it would be much better to block it at the source so it never makes it into Emby.

ok thanks. so i am guessing turning it off in the hdhomerun unit slightly improves the performance of emby server then. after playing around with both situations, i decided to just hide them via parental controls in case i ever want a channel turned back on. at least this way they channel can still get guide data even though it is hidden.
