Jason'sEmby 29 Posted January 21, 2021 Posted January 21, 2021 Is there a way to specify for the system to only use a specific graphics card for live TV transcoding and a specific graphics card for everything else? Example live TV can only use the 1070 and any movies or TV shows that transcodes can use the 3080? Reason why I want to do this is because if a movie plays while watching live TV it causes live TV to buffer. This is because the transcoder is just an off-and-on. So my solution was two graphics cards but I can't figure out how to set it up LOL. With the setup I have now I'm able to get Hardware decoding (3080)but software encoding when it comes to movies but uses a lot of CPU.
Solution Luke 42085 Posted January 21, 2021 Solution Posted January 21, 2021 Hi, no there isn't, but down the road when we support load balancing with multiple gpu's then I would think you'll be able to.

Or can the current beta versions of emby load balance? I am running 4.7.0.36. Edited May 5, 2022 by Volfan6415
