Sttutering and not showing subtitles on some anime - Emby theater

Emby theater version 1.1.336.0, having an issue with some anime (I'm specifying that because there is no problem with normal series, for some reason) where I experience: lack of subtitles and weird stuttering, the latter being magically fixed if I move forward or backward a little. I included an example video of the problem in the attachment, including the "settings for nerds".

The issues don't happen in the android version of Emby.
