Seeking help with ongoing audio issues

I cannot get Audio to play from anything in 5.1 format I’ve tried resetting my Apple TV to factory setting and tinkering with the setting on Emby but have yet to have any success.

Hi.  Exactly what kind of audio?  The Apple TV should fully support Dolby Digital.  Can we please look at an example?

Any audio in 5.1 surround sound doesn’t seem to play I’ve looked through and stero audio seems to work but nothing in this format

How is everything connected? What are the Apple TV audio settings?

Connected  directly via HDMI I have nothing else connected into the tv

Seems to have been a setting on the tv turning eArc on and virtual X seems to have fixed it
