Nelyga 1 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 I have TS-431, after install 4.5.4.0 I can't see web interface on localhost:8096. Try connect on Samsung TV, iMac - nothing, server not found. I try reinstall some old Emby versions, but result is the same. Restart Qnap a lot of times, but nothing ... On Qnap web desktop I see Embyswerver icon, can stop it, can start ot remove it, but nothing changes. /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/programdata is empty. On https://emby.media/qnap-server.html I choose ARMv7 (TS-x31, and TS-x31U Series) at first time, but here is emby-server-qnap_4.5.4.0_arm-x41 file and my Qnap can't install, so I try ARMv7 (TS-x31+, TS-x31P, TS-x31P2, TS-x31X, and TS-x31XU Series), here is file - emby-server-qnap_4.5.4.0_arm-x31. This look like right file and I install on my Qnap 431. But server not starting..
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 try with the ip address of NAS (where emby is installed) rather than localhost (if you use localhost from a pc - that the localhost on the pc not the NAS)
Nelyga 1 Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 I try IP:8096 too, so I try open from Qnap web icon, but result the same - ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
Nelyga 1 Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 Qnap show error when I try instaling emby-server-qnap-mono_4.6.0.10_arm-x41.qpkg :"Failed to install Emby Server 4.6.0.10. Installation package is incompatible. Use the correct package."
Nelyga 1 Posted December 23, 2020 Author Posted December 23, 2020 No, I find only Qmono_6.8.0.105._arm-x41, but can't install to my TS-431. Package Error.
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 looks like it does not exist for x31 cpu's
PenkethBoy 2068 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 http://forum.qnapclub.fr/topic/7714-qmono-42230-mono-framework/ 5 yr old thread though

PenkethBoy 2068 Posted December 23, 2020 Posted December 23, 2020 then its down to the devs to comment - but its down to the cpu
Nelyga 1 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 It seems about 4.0.0.0. I don't remember precisely.

Nelyga 1 Posted December 26, 2020 Author Posted December 26, 2020 Yes, because all works nice with old version and my mistake was to do update to new. Now I don’t have Emby...
Solution Nelyga 1 Posted December 27, 2020 Author Solution Posted December 27, 2020 Now I install old 4.4.0.40 and... voilà - server start to work TS-431, 4.3.6.1446 (latest)
alucryd 315 Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 The vanilla 431 has a freescale CPU with supposedly has NEON support, so the x31 file should have worked, maybe the previous version you had was way too old. What if you try the latest stable x31 package again?
Nelyga 1 Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 Last working version on my TS-431 is 4.4.2.0
Luke 42077 Posted January 9, 2021 Posted January 9, 2021 What if you try the latest stable x31 package again?
Nelyga 1 Posted January 10, 2021 Author Posted January 10, 2021 If I try latest package, Emby server not run - I can't access on my Qnap TS-431, for example 4.4.3.0 does not work already. Latest and beta too.

alucryd 315 Posted January 16, 2021 Posted January 16, 2021 (edited) If you get the chance to give it a try, could you run the following command and post the output here? /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/EmbyServer/emby-server.sh start Edited January 16, 2021 by alucryd
Nelyga 1 Posted January 28, 2021 Author Posted January 28, 2021 I’m here, but I don’t know how do it. At this moment I’m happy with 4.4.2.0., this work for me
Luke 42077 Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 Did you see this? This user is able to run on the TS-431.
