tomnjerry74 97 Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 (edited) Hello, I must have some css somewhere in my long list that removes the backdrops when browsing music artists, albums, songs, etc. The problem is, the gradient overlay is still present and I can't figure out what element it is for the life of me . I just want the background to be plain; the same value I have for the --theme-background variable. Does anyone know how to get rid of the overlays/gradients? Edit: The rule I currently have sets ".backdropImage" display to none. Edited December 15, 2020 by tomnjerry74
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 You mean the item CSS overriding theme CSS do to "!important"?

Thank you. My custom css isn't overriding it, even with !important tags . .itemBackgroundContainer.withBackdrop { Â Â Â background:none!important } Â
Solution Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 15, 2020 Solution Posted December 15, 2020 If you look at your console you will see the order as that custom css is still below the item css. It is not important enough to override existing code so adding div changes the targeting a little.  div.itemBackgroundContainer.withBackdrop { background: none!important; }  1

Thank you for both the working code and the lesson! Neat trick!
