jad3675 26 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Latest stable Emby on Ubuntu 18.04. I recorded 'Dr. Seuss' the Grinch Musical' '(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13437728/) last night OTA. It shows up in my library as unidentified. When I go to ID the show, I enter the imdb ID in the search box - when I hit search, it returns nothing- just a blank result screen. If if I attempt the same with the tvdb ID (https://thetvdb.com/movies/dr-seuss-the-grinch-musical), I get this: Which results in these logs when I select it and have it save the metadata. 2020-12-10 10:46:29.023 Info App: Setting provider id's to item 10041636-Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical!: {"Tvdb":"0"} 2020-12-10 10:46:29.347 Info App: MovieDbProvider: Finding id for item: Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical! 2020-12-10 10:46:29.630 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/tv?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=Dr.+Seuss'+The+Grinch+Musical!&language=en 2020-12-10 10:46:29.932 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/tv?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=Dr++Seuss+The+Grinch+Musical&language=en 2020-12-10 10:46:29.949 Info HttpClient: GET https://private.omdbapi.com?apikey=fe53f97e&plot=full&r=json&t=Dr.+Seuss'+The+Grinch+Musical!&type=series 2020-12-10 10:46:30.094 Info MediaProbeManager: ProcessRun 'ffprobe' Execute: /opt/emby-server/bin/ffprobe -i file:"/mnt/media/Shows/Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical!/Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical! 2020_12_09_20_00_00.mkv" -threads 0 -v info -print_format json -show_streams -show_chapters -show_format -show_data 2020-12-10 10:46:30.114 Info App: ProcessRun 'extract-image' Execute: /opt/emby-server/bin/ffmpeg -ss 00:12:05.916 -f matroska -i file:"/mnt/media/Shows/Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical!/Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical! 2020_12_09_20_00_00.mkv" -an -sn -threads 0 -vframes 1 -vf "scale=trunc(min(max(iw\,ih*dar)\,min(600\,0*dar))/2)*2:trunc(min(max(iw/dar\,ih)\,min(600/dar\,0))/2)*2,thumbnail=24" -f image2 "/var/lib/emby/cache/temp/d53ce566-713e-4559-83f7-d9ec62c2f162.jpg" 2020-12-10 10:46:30.641 Info App: MovieDbProvider: Finding id for item: Dr. Seuss' The Grinch Musical! 2020-12-10 10:46:30.926 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/tv?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=Dr.+Seuss'+The+Grinch+Musical!&language=en 2020-12-10 10:46:31.226 Info HttpClient: GET https://api.themoviedb.org/3/search/tv?api_key=f6bd687ffa63cd282b6ff2c6877f2669&query=Dr++Seuss+The+Grinch+Musical&language=en 2020-12-10 10:46:31.244 Info HttpClient: GET https://private.omdbapi.com?apikey=fe53f97e&plot=full&r=json&t=Dr.+Seuss'+The+Grinch+Musical!&type=series I noticed this happened the other day with 'Daily Wager' - emby doesn't appear to search properly for the imdb ID, either. Looking at another show I reocrd OTA - If I search for the IMDB id for 'Rick Steves' Europe' (another series that I record OTA that emby does ID properly) emby does return the proper series and shows it being ID'ed properly in the logs. Same if I use the tvdb ID. If I select the search result, this is logged which does show the proper IDs, unlike the logs above for The Grinch. 2020-12-10 10:53:42.681 Info App: Setting provider id's to item 9474613-Rick Steves' Europe: {"Tvdb":"74691","Zap2It":"EP00392609","Tmdb":"62970"}
Luke 42086 Posted December 10, 2020 Posted December 10, 2020 Quote I recorded 'Dr. Seuss' the Grinch Musical' '(https://www.imdb.com/title/tt13437728/) last night OTA. This means that none of the metadata fetchers you've enabled for your library have this imdb in their database. I would try doing it by name.

Moving it to the movies library fixes the issues.... John Edited December 10, 2020 by jad3675

Once i realized that it was nice to keep them in a holiday folder and out of the main movie folder. Edited December 10, 2020 by skidmarks 1
