Stop subtitle downloads for specific movie

Recently, I made a post about an issue I'm having where Emby keeps alerting me it tried (and failed) to download subtitles for one specific movie in my library which already has subs.

The post was moved to a thread that I don't feel is really about the same issue (sorry Luke...) so I'd like to ask again how to stop attempts at downloading subtitles for a specific title rather than, say, the whole library. I'd just like the alert logs to stop filling up.

It's not currently possible to stop for a single title, although you could workaround it by adding a subtitle to it.

Hmm, the thing is there already is a subtitle file (.srt) in the movie folder. Following your suggestion, though, I deleted it and download another one from OpenSubtitles (a hash match). Hopefully that stops the alerts. Just wondering why Emby keeps trying Podnapisi... we'll see!

It probably wasn't named correctly or doesn't match the download language because if emby server was aware of it then it wouldn't keep trying to download more.

Happy to report there are no further alerts for this file. Replacing the subtitle file did the trick. Now if only I'd have thought of that to begin with
