atgomez6555 0 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 My file name is Star Wars Rebels - S01E01 - Spark of Rebellion Blu-ray-1080p.mkv The season metadata is set to DVD Order. Here is the TVDB info for DVD order: https://thetvdb.com/series/star-wars-rebels/seasons/dvd/1 As you can see, Episode 1 is Spark of Rebellion. However it keeps downloading the metadata for Episode 2, Droids in Distress, and names the episode as so. I have attached a photo showing what it looks like. Why is Emby continuing to download the wrong metadata even though the file is name correctly?
Luke 42078 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Hi there, what metadata fetchers are enabled on the tv library, and in what order?
atgomez6555 0 Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 1 minute ago, Luke said: Hi there, what metadata fetchers are enabled on the tv library, and in what order? The TVDB is primary for Series and Episode, TheMovieDb is the only option for Season.
Luke 42078 Posted December 1, 2020 Posted December 1, 2020 Did you configure the display order on the series?
atgomez6555 0 Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 1 minute ago, Luke said: Did you configure the display order on the series? Yes, as I said in my OP, it has been switched. Droids in Distress is episode 2 in DVD order, and episode 1 in Aired order.
atgomez6555 0 Posted December 1, 2020 Author Posted December 1, 2020 I had to manually edit the metadata and lock it to episode 1.
Solution Luke 42078 Posted December 16, 2020 Solution Posted December 16, 2020 Ok thanks for the feedback. In some cases tvdb is not returning the correct results for dvd order and they're saying it won't be resolved until their new v4 api is completed. @Happy2Play
Happy2Play 9780 Posted December 16, 2020 Posted December 16, 2020 Correct as the only metadata we get shows that as two episode Specials without any DVD order. <Episode> <id>7460333</id> <Combined_episodenumber>5</Combined_episodenumber> <Combined_season>0</Combined_season> <DVD_chapter>0</DVD_chapter> <DVD_discid/> <DVD_episodenumber>0</DVD_episodenumber> <DVD_season>0</DVD_season> <Director/> <EpImgFlag/> <EpisodeName>Spark of Rebellion (1)</EpisodeName> <EpisodeNumber>5</EpisodeNumber> <FirstAired>2014-10-03</FirstAired> <GuestStars/> <IMDB_ID/> <Language>en</Language> <Overview>It is a dark time. Or are we waiting for v3 expire?
atgomez6555 0 Posted December 16, 2020 Author Posted December 16, 2020 (edited) @Happy2Play interesting as the web view shows it correctly. https://thetvdb.com/series/star-wars-rebels/seasons/dvd/1 Guess their API is messed up.... not surprising. Edited December 16, 2020 by atgomez6555
