jad3675 26 Posted November 9, 2020 Posted November 9, 2020 For a library scan in Emby, does the server use the directory date/time stamp to determine if it needs to be re-scanned? I recently swapped my cloud mounted media folder from gdrive to DropBox and even though the mount was 100% the same structure wise and used the exact same paths, emby did a very thorough re-scan on the order of almost an hour. Subsequent scans only took 30 seconds or so. rclone mounted DropBox shares don't show the real date/time of directory creation - it defaults to the time the mount was started up, but it does keep the date/time creation of the files within the folders. Thanks! John
