I tried it — it does set a Content-Length and drops the chunked encoding, but the value is an estimate: 7,849,714 promised against 3,920,748 actually delivered on a 23-second track, the same figure for FLAC and for WAV, and the connection closes at the real end. For a renderer that needs an accurate length, that fails the same way a missing one does.
