Such banal thing but unfortunately not once I experienced something just stops working in emby as collateral damage. So I got worried that this might be similar scenario.

I would say so now, yes, but I can't be 100% sure because before I "cleaned" data/collection folder and those "residues" I haven't been able to make collection manually. Now I can't be sure why - was it some other mistake I wasn't aware of (I used copied paths from finder so paths were not the issue in that case) or something with database.
