Save a Movies by Year view?

In MB2, the group by function was saved/remembered for a given media folder.  However, I have not been able to get it to save in MB3.  I created a copy of my movies media folder in the server and then changed to "Group by" to Year.  However, anytime I re-enter media folder it is reset to no group by setting.  Is there anyway to make this persist?
