Gazzinga 0 Posted May 18, 2020 Posted May 18, 2020 Hi, I've recently moved from Emby Server on Windows to Emby Server on my Synology NAS. Most of the Movies/Shows are being automatically identified correctly. However some are not. Normally I would use the 'identify' feature at this point and look up the IMDb reference. This returns no data. I also tried the TMDB number and this fails to find any shows. Within the log file attached the IMDB search was for id: tt7693270 at 2020-05-18 10:11:04 Also the entry log for a TBDB id no: 479270 at 2020-05-18 10:19:08. This is followed by an error within the log file. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Emby Server.txt
Luke 42078 Posted May 20, 2020 Posted May 20, 2020 HI, what metadata fetchers are enabled for your movie library and in what order? tt7693270 Worked just fine for me, as did 479270. Thanks.
Gazzinga 0 Posted May 21, 2020 Author Posted May 21, 2020 Hi Luke, Thanks for your reply. Series metadata downloaders: 1) TheTVDB 2) TheMovieDB Season metadata downloaders: 1) TheMovieDB (only one choice here) Episode metadata downloaders: 1) TheTVDB 2) TheMovieDB Metadata Saves: Nfo Does the error in the log assist? No managed switches and no firewall packet drops indicated in the firewall log. Thanks
Solution Luke 42078 Posted May 23, 2020 Solution Posted May 23, 2020 This content is a movie but you're trying to use the Identify feature on a tv series folder in your library. That's the reason for your problem. You'd need to setup a movies library for this. Please let us know if this helps. Thanks.
