Emby xpenology and LG TV DLNA not showing any photos

Attempted Emby long long time ago, abandoned later because complexcity. Now I am giving it another try to switch from Plex. 

 

Latest Emby on a Xpenology DS3617xs box. 

LG 2 year old model Smart TV running webos. 

 

Problems encountered so far: 

 

1. TV as a DLNA client, does not recognize or show photos at all. They are fully browsable on a web browser. 

2. Could not find music-->folder options. all the other options I don't want are there, eg, albums, genre artists etc. I would like a " folder" option. How to hide those others?

 

Emby appears more powerful than Plex based on my limited experience. I have a 4K video encoded in very high bit rate (a 4K RAW footage, converted to a best quality H264).  Plex can not handle it, very jittery while playing. Emby is able to after a while of initial pause. Once it started to play, it is reasonably smooth till the end. I am very happy with the initial testing. I am looking to fix the above issues to complete the switch.

yes!, http://xxxxxx:8096 showes all the photos.

Issues Resolved after resetting the TV to the initial status!! I don"t know how to mark this as resolved.
